Burning Trash

Here in the bayous and country of Ponchatoula, LA, we burn trash… and tonight… I am burning all size 32 clothes, all size 30 clothes, and all size 28 clothes.  I do not want them back in my closet.  Now that I am a 26  I am feeling a little more sexier...I am headed to walmart to findme some in expensive jeans–I dont want to spend too much because it wont be long to toss those 26 in exchange for a 24…… WHOOOOOOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOOOOOO…. BURN BABY BURN

Cool, what a way to purge! I’m gonna donate all my big clothes to a women’s shelter, I think!

Good idea on getting rid of your too big clothes.  Wouldn’t they be betture used at a shelter or something rather than burn them?  Just a thought.  Have fun shopping for your new jeans.

While I am a big fan of making a huge statement by tossing out the old. If you do have any office clothing that you are thinking of burning, there is a great organization called Dress for Success.

They provide buisness appropriate clothing to woman who are coming off of welfare and in to the workforce.

I think it’s great that you are getting rid of those bigger sizes, you will not be needing them anymore. I did the same with all of my winter clothes.

You are doing a great job, congrats!

You know Fashion Bug has some great jeans, and if you catch them on a special, you can get them pretty cheap.

I understand why you burned them. Its more a mental exercise… you know if they burn they will never be in your closet again. A sort of cleansing. I like it !! A feeling of satisfaction as they went up in flames… sort of like burning an x-boyfriends clothes

Getting rid of the too big clothes is the best thing to do.  For a while I kept mine just in case, but then realized how negative that was. I have a homeless shelter I give mine to. No keeping them in case I fail.

I bet it felt good to see them go up in smoke…Especially a few pieces in particular… maybe I’ll do that too!!!!
